Refund Stout
A.K.A. Refund & Returns Policy · Vintage 2026-05-19
Brewer's notes: Fourteen days, no questions on unopened kits. Opened consumables we cannot take back — and we'll explain why.
1. Statutory right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
2. Unopened goods
Unopened items in resaleable condition can be returned for a full refund of the item price within 14 days. Outbound shipping is refunded only if the entire order is returned.
3. Opened consumables — food safety
Opened sachets of malt, hops, yeast, sanitiser or flavour powder cannot be returned because we cannot guarantee the food-safety chain once a seal is broken. This is consistent with UK Food Safety Regulations.
4. Opened tools
Opened tools (fermenter, hydrometer, brushes) are non-returnable unless they arrive defective. Manufacturer defects discovered within 6 months are replaced at our expense.
5. How to claim
Email support@obanalesco.com with your order number and photos. We send a free return label for unopened items shipped within the UK; international customers pay return shipping.
Refunds reach the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.
6. Damaged on arrival
Email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package and contents. We replace damaged items at our expense.
